SLCA Talks To Students at the U of U
On Thursday, April 10th, our Anchor Maintenance and Advocacy Coordinator, Drew Brodhead, spoke to students in the Land Management and Conservation emphasis at the University of Utah.
He was joined by four others, each working in different roles within the conservation landscape, to share insights about their careers. The conversation focused on what we do, how we got here, and the importance of following curiosity—wherever it may lead. It was a great opportunity to share a perspective rooted in climbing management and stewardship, and to highlight the diverse paths that have brought us to this work.
Inspiring future stewards is at the core of what we do at the SLCA. We're always seeking meaningful ways to engage with the next generation. Whether it’s through our annual New Router Symposium, Climbers and Coffee, SLCA Climbing Fest, or speaking with students, we’re doing our best to keep the stoke alive!
