An important part of who we are individually and as organizations, is our community. During this year, I challenged our team over at Gnarly Nutrition to get more involved with our local community. We partnered with the SLCA (Salt Lake Climbers Alliance) on a number of projects including trail maintenance and graffiti removal. These were great opportunities for us to build camaraderie as well as support our local community.

For me personally, I grew up in the Wasatch mountains and I have had powerful and memorable experiences in these mountains. Many times I was pushed to my greatest limits. I want to make sure these areas are preserved for my kids and my community to continue to have life changing experiences.

Gnarly Nutrition is proud to support the SLCA to help continue to preserve climbing areas and to help support their efforts in providing greater education, advocacy and stewardship to our local community. After all, at Gnarly we want to help you to continue to challenge and push your personal limits so you become better. In our efforts to fulfill that mission, our team donates time to take care of our mountains and local crags which provide an optimal environment to be challenged in.
