The SLCA Has Been Robbed

Last week, the SLCA was robbed of thousands of dollars of climbing gear and rope access equipment specific to anchor maintenance work. This also means that you, our climbing community, was robbed of your donations to the SLCA through this theft.

Big ticket items included a rack of Black Diamond Cams and Quickdraws, cordless 36v Bosch hammer drill,  a Honda EU 2000 Generator, and an anchor maintenance kit including items that look like those in this photo.  

A claim has been made and a police report filed. Please keep an eye out for any suspicious KSL or online listings and we appreciate it if you would notify us by sending the post to anchors@saltlakeclimbers.org so we can add it to the investigation file.
