SLCA Heads to the Capitol

In February 2024, the SLCA had the privilege of participating in three unique events held at the Utah State Capitol: Arts Day on the Hill, Tourism Day on the Hill, and Outdoor Recreation Day on the Hill. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to converse with our local representatives, highlighting the significance of preserving the Wasatch and promoting the mission of the SLCA. We emphasized programs and initiatives supported by the state through their generous grants for outdoor recreation infrastructure improvements. Our presence at these events underscores our unwavering commitment and ongoing efforts to protect and steward Wasatch climbing.
