UPD on E-Bikes to help curb vandalism in the canyons

We all are fed up with vandalism in the canyons. Here is something that will hopefully help.

“Unified Police Department’s Canyon Patrol recently purchased electric mountain bikes to help increase its presence and to help deter graffiti and drug use in the canyons.  The purchase of these bikes was made possible through a generous donation from the Sorenson Legacy Foundation. The UPD is committed to protecting the canyons and believes these bikes will be a valuable and effective policing tool. The UPD greatly appreciates the support of its community partners, including the Climbers Alliance.” - UPD
